NATURAL REGULATION

In New Zealand due to our climate and poor insulation, homes tend to be damp and susceptible to mould and fungi. This is a problem for both the dwelling and its occupants. Higher indoor humidity levels are a factor in increasing growth levels of mould and fungi that may lead to asthma, allergies, fatigue and headaches for the occupants living in such an environment.

Built on Biology’s designs help maintain a suitable climate within a living space that is more conducive to the health of its occupants by ensuring optimal air exchange through the space and maintaining proper humidity and temperature to minimize the effects of mould and fungi. We will also suggest options to add natural building materials to balance the humidity levels and explain the benefits of natural home maintenance if appropriate.
