INDOOR AIR QUALITY

Since 1950, about 80,000 new chemicals have been introduced into our environment. Poorly designed and ventilated living spaces built from synthetic materials that emit harmful vapours and air-borne particulates have widely garnered international attention for their correlation to serious negative health effects. These include: increasing rates of asthma, allergies, lung diseases, nervous disorders, Attention Deficit Disorder and Autism. Furthermore, there has been limited research conducted on the cross contamination of these chemicals and their effects on humans in enclosed spaces.

Built On Biology will help clients identify existing or potential problems.

Clients will be provided with recommendations to improve their indoor air quality which may include the use of toxin-free alternatives, the use of natural toxin absorbers and holistically designed spaces to improve natural ventilation.
